hey boys and girls
i'm back from KL and boy i had a blast.
3 days of pure shopping.
not to mention eating buffets and tons of walking.
places like chinatown where you get to purchase cheap ass, pirated of course,
goods from watches to bags, clothes to perfume. plus you get to bargain
which my dear ol' safy did for me cause i cant keep a straight face lol
i sure i packed a few pounds from the buffets. had like 2 breakfast buffets and 1 dinner buffet.
pizza, chicken rice, dunkin' donutz (z for style), braskin robins ice cream (which kicks ass) and tons of other great food. anyway, yeah we partially covered like 4 shopping malls in our 3 day stay. the malls there are huge, and if you thought vivo city was big, my oh my you are mistaken.
the malls there make vivocity look like a some common shopping mall. there was this one mall which took me and my baby 3 hours to walk one level! and another mall which had 10 stories, plus an indoor theme park..how sweet was that? yeah would sure like to go back to KL one day to cover those places because i'm sure there's more to see. i'll try to recall everything in detail..
-day 1
didn't sleep the night before the trip cause i usually get excited when i'm about to leave the country, so go figure. met safy and her family at 5am to get a cab to changi airport. arrived at KL airport at like 7 plus. took a cab to the city which was about a good 2 hours or so from the airport. arrived at the hotel to check in. i stayed with baby and her family in the same room, which was a suite. they took the queen size beds while i slept in a spare bed which we ordered.
anyway first stop was chinatown, like i mention about..shopping at dirt cheap prices. blah blah blah, went to some shopping mall to get more shopping done. we went alone cause safy's mom wanted to go shopping with her friends. they wanted to go back to china town cause they weren't done there, so me and baby went off again on our own. went to 2 malls to look around and buy stuff before heading back to the hotel for buffet dinner/gg . after dinner it was back to the room for some sleep.
-day 2
woke up at 5.30am, yes, never in my life i would willingly wake up at that hour, but had no choice cause we wanted an early start to shopping. breakfast was at 7-8 plus? and yes steph's family takes that long to prepare to go out. after buffet breakfast, we went back to the hotel, which i manage to sneak in about 1/2 hour of sleep before going out again. went to midvalley shopping mall which was like vivo city's elder brother of something. there was dunkin donutz there so we had us some donuts. did some shopping myself and some friends there. walked alot, killing our legs and my shoulder since i was carrying safy's stuff in my bag. but it was alright. after the mall, we went back to chinatown cause we weren't done shopping there because we heard that there are more stores in the evening. so back to china town where i bought a jacket and sunglasses. and yes more stuff for other people. hmmm back to the hotel where we had dinner of pizza from room service. we were too lazy to leave the hotel so yeah room service ftw! had the whole hotel to ourselves since safy's mom and dad went out with their friends. but my piggish girlfriend wanted to sleep early cause she was tired, so i listened to some ipod till 12am before going to sleep.
-day 3
woke up slightly later, 7am haha well not really but 7 hours of sleep seemed enough. today we went out of KL to do some shopping at some shopping mall which was 1/2 hour away from the city..putrajaya it was called? well anyway THIS MALL WAS THE MOTHER OF ALL MALLS. it was the size of the singapore stadium maybe even bigger! it took us like forever to cover 1 level. we only walked like 1/4 of the mall before we had to go, and we were there for a good 6 hours..oh my. baby and i went to times square which boasted 10 levels of shopping plus an indoor theme park which sadly we couldnt go due to the lack of time. walked around where we got more shopping done. left the place at 8pm cause of some water constraint which the hotel had, so we had to bathe or else no bathing till we get back to s'pore gg. we packed up that night cause we had to leave early the next morning. so yeah.
-homeward bound
woke up at 5am, showered and left the hotel at 7 plus. it was still early so there was no jam, took a van/cab to KL airport. we arrived early so we got on a earlier flight. couldnt buy duty free because singapore government feels that its cheating if we go malaysia to buy duty free goods..lsahfiohafsoihdOH FUCKED UP TAXES so yeah no bailey's for me..sighhh anyway arrived in singapore, where the air is cleaner, roads are wider and where there are no signs of proton cars anyway..lol got home and 11 am and stoned till 5 plus for the bbq at night. so yeah pretty much sums up everything..so yeah.
